Happy Anniversary Sri Padma & Tunas Maragawi!
Anniversary Sanggar Sri Padma and Sanggar Tunas Maragawi (Calender)
This year on the founding anniversary of Sri Padma and Tunas Maragawi group I made a calendar as a present for my students.
It looks a bit different design. Isn’t it ?!
The Bali calendar is written in vertical writing.
Anniversary Sanggar Sri Padma and Sanggar Tunas Maragawi (Calendar)
On the “Sunday” columns is written the word “Muruk”.
It means “practice” in Balinese.
Usually I am off on the Sunday of the next day after Kuningan festival.
And on this Sunday there is no rehearsal, but most of the this “Sunday After Kuningan” some children still appear come to the practice area, and forget the schedule.
So considering this I tell them to always check the calendar, and if there is a rehearsal it must be written the word “Muruk”
I wrote in that sense.
On this calendar I also described important days such as full moon and new moon.
In elementary and junior high school, every full moon and the new moon the students go to school wear the Hindu dress. So this calendar also can be useful.
Besides that on this calendar is also written the date of the temple festivals of the village area, and the date of the once in five weeks festival, and the Tumpek.
So I said to the children:
“Please you do and you all may look at this calendar if you plan to help your mother to make the temple offerings!”
It would be nice.
“Let ‘s do our best to make the schedule and to regularly practice so that the dance classroom can be continued over and over the year! ! !”
